Art, Music, Wheels... What Moves You?
The 94/7 Scion Art Contest was a visual triumph and we’d like to say thanks to George Fox’s art students, Mount Hood Community’s Integrated media students and Art Institute’s graphic design students for their amazing work. Last week we challenged them to create original art based on the theme “It’s Different Here” right on a brand new Scion. The students had only an hour to impress the judges using their teamwork, creative minds and artistic abilities. The AI team brought a clean, colorful style to their Scion. Team Mount Hood celebrated the look of the northwest, plus aliens and a one-eyed Sasquatch, which is always good.
Ultimately, we were blown away by the George Fox Team’s take on a futuristic Portland cityscape mashed up with natural northwest splendor, and so George Fox took the top prize. It was incredibly close and all did a superb job, congratulations to all the student teams.
Thanks again to all the students that participated - you were all truly amazing.
Congratulations George Fox!
