Hey this is Jake Wilson and me and my friend Austin Hergert and we are listening to a great local band who is really putting together some great music that goes along with today’s alt/indie rock movement. We feel they deserve some radio play and to be heard. Just wanted to give 94.7 a heads up. We love you guys and keep doing your thing!
Jacob and Austin.

Every one remembers that our life is expensive, however we require money for various things and not every man gets big sums money. Thus to receive quick mortgage loans and consolidation loans would be a proper way out.

Hi Greg -
i'm writing you, as opposed to the others there, as you are the guy who probably honors the older material more than anyone there, and that's a huge compliment. when Gang of Four was recently in town, i did not hear a single song from either their new album, "content" on 94.7fm, nor a promo for their show at wonder ballroom. in my opinion, bands like GoF are the reason there are now stations that dedicate their theme entirely to alternative...
i know their lp was panned by the mercury, but feel that was off the mark. i think it is strong, and supports and relates to their earlier, stronger material. their show was stellar, even if it was only two-thirds full. if you get a chance to play any of the new lp, i'd go for either: "she said, you made a thing of me", "you'll never pay for the farm", "a fruitfly in the beehive", "you don't have to be mad", and "i party all the time", pretty much in that order...
thanks for listening to your listeners. for the record, i'm in my late 40's, lived most of my life in the s.f. bay area, played, toured, booked a niteclub, and started hitting shows in high school, in the late 70's, at places like the mabuhay gardens. i've been collecting, listening, and loving music for a long time...
i like your station, and get that you have to promote current stuff (even if most of it pales by comparison to earlier stuff, in my opinion), but i'm guessing that if i take the time to write this, that there's probably more like me out here that feel similarly (yes, i've done some marketing). a bit more of paying tribute the classics, as well as supporting some of their returning efforts, would probably keep me on 94.7fm, for a larger portion of the listening day...
i feel as though i can say this to you, as i believe i am speaking to the most sympathetic ear, there. sorry if i was on my soapbox, a bit, but just want you to know how some of us think and feel out here..
thanks and keep up the good work!
