Despite the fact that we live in Portland, every once in awhile, believe it or not, it actually DOES get sunny! The clouds part, birds sing, sunroofs get cranked open, and people put on shorts, despite the fact that it might be 52 degrees outside. So, why is it that every time it gets sunny traffic starts to pile up? Have we been out of the sun for so long that we've forgotten how to drive in it? It shouldn't take so much energy to flip the sunshade down or put on your sunglasses that you have to suddenly hit the brakes when you crest that hill on Hwy. 26. The entire state of Florida is laughing at us right now. What's your beef?
