The Oregon Zoo Summer Concert Series Returns!

The 2015 Oregon Zoo Summer Concert Series returns with Chicago June 21st, The B-52s on June 27th, Peter Frampton and Cheap Trick August 21st, Huey Lewis and the News on August 29th, and many more! The PDX Pop Now! festival returns July 24-26 for its annual free, all ages, and all volunteer three day music celebration! Taking place under the Hawthorne bridge at AudioCinema, the festival will feature two outdoor stages, a record fair, street fair, food carts, and the annual band on band basketball tournament Rigsketball! Showcasing a sampling of some of the best Portland musicians across a variety of genres—including hip hop, metal, folk, pop—the 12th annual festival furthers their commitment to being accessible, current, and local.

94/7 is partnering with Vitalogy Foundation for the EB Research Partnership

Pearl Jam​'s Vitalogy Foundation has partnered with us to raise money for several amazing nonprofit organizations in 2015 and beyond! The Vitalogy Foundation is a public non-profit organization founded in 2006 by Pearl Jam and their manager, supporting the efforts of non profit organizations in the fields of community health, the environment, arts and education, and social change. $2 from every ticket sold to our Birthday Party concert will go to the Vitalogy Foundation to benefit the EB Research Partnership. EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa) is devastating, and currently without a cure. An individual with EB lacks a critical protein that binds the layers of skin together. Without this protein, the skin tears apart, blisters and sheers off, leading to severe pain, disfigurement, and wounds that never heal. Given that EB affects only 30,000 people in the US, advancing this research relies on the generosity of individuals and corporations. Learn more about Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation. Les Schwab Bowl Tires Bowl

The 2015 Les Schwab Tires Bowl will be played on Saturday, June 20th at Hillsboro Stadium with doors opening at 3pm and kickoff at 6pm. Proceeds from the event benefit the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association general scholarship fund and all of Oregon’s 5A and 6A schools.
