Jim Davis had to apologize for the above strip which ran on 'Veterans Day'. Critics saw it as making fun of the holiday that honors those who served in the military. Hmm. The timing may have been off but I don't think Mr. Davis was trying to offend anyone.

Controversial Garfield?
How idiotic...the author probably had nothing to do with the timing...it is just a cartoon that had nothing to do with insulting anybody! WHY do stupid people take everything in the world so seriously like everything should revolve around offending them???
